The FGIS owns several investment vehicles and companies specialized in the key sectors of the transformation of the Gabonese economy. Each portfolio company contributes to accelerating the development of its sector of activity and thus participates in the effort to improve the living conditions of the Gabonese population.

Sustainable Energy

The FGIS created GPC with the mission to carry out research, design, build and operate energy and water production infrastructures. GPC is developing several projects in partnership with strategic players (industrial and financial) in the sector such as Meridiam, Eranove or Wärtsilä.

Intelligent Capital

Okoumé Capital is a $36 million U.S. private equity firm dedicated to financing entrepreneurship in Gabon and developing SMEs and start-ups with strong growth potential on a national and international scale.

Urban Planning

The urban development company Façade Maritime du Champ Triomphal (FMCT) is the promoter that drives and coordinates the development of the man-made marina of Libreville’s seafront. Its action consists in the development of the new urban hub La Baie des Rois to increase the economic attractiveness of Libreville.

Infrastructure Fund

RISE Gabon is an investment fund for infrastructure development in Gabon, established through a partnership between the Republic of Gabon and the Islamic Development Bank. With a capital of 60 million USD, RISE Gabon invests to develop a pipeline of infrastructure projects designed to improve the competitiveness of key sectors of the Gabonese economy and to crowd-in private investments.

Insurance & Reassurance

SCG-Ré's corporate purpose is to manage, on behalf of the Gabonese State, the legal cession and underwriting of reinsurance operations, conventional or optional, for all or some categories of insurance.

Sustainable Tourism

Luxury Green Resorts' mission is to contribute to the development of the tourism sector, to enhance the value of National Parks and to promote employment while respecting the criteria of sustainable development and profitability.

Construction & Public Works

Seteg is a Gabonese company specialized in electrification and drinking water supply works. Through Seteg, the FGIS contributes to the providing affordable electricity and drinkable water to the Gabonese people.

Transports - Logistics

Handling Partner Gabon has been operating since 2007 at the Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville. The company provides passenger, track and operational assistance to its corporate clients as well as to one-off customers. It contributes to the attractiveness of Gabon as an international business destination.


The National Pharmaceutical Office (OPN) is the public purchasing office for medicines and other health products. Its mission is to supply public health structures as a priority and it has a monopoly on all medicines in hospital form. Following the adoption of a government reform in 2020, the FGIS took over the management of OPN and injected 5 billion CFA francs to bring OPN back into balance and guarantee universal access to medicines, especially for the poores.
